Get Started

So you've got your email address and password.  Now what?  Here is some helpful information to get you up and running quickly and easily.

To get started using your new account, simply login at and enter your username (OCC email address) and password.  From there, you'll notice a number of things you can do with email, including organizing it into labels, applying filters (automatically moves email into a label), creating new email and reading archived email.  In the top right corner you'll see a 3X3 grid icon which, when clicked on, displays links to all the other programs in the OMAP system.  Click on one of them and see what it looks like.  Experiment with it and see what you can do.  If you can't figure it out, submit a Help Desk ticket and let us know.  We'll get back with you so you can keep enjoying the rich features of this advanced system.


All official college communications for students take place via the OMAP system.  To login, visit and enter your username (OCC email address) and password. From OMAP you'll be able to send and receive email, create and share documents, create calendar events or view other people's calendars, and access all the other great features of Google Apps.
